If you choose to create one from scratch, the stats and cost will depend upon your own design. You can either edit existing blueprints or create one from scratch. To customize one's ship, go to the "editor" from the world map and select the ship you want to edit. Use the materials received in space missions to customize the ship, which will give it a large boost in stats.

The various Abilities you have access to also have levels, ranging from 1 to 3. Like the Cost values above, you have a certain amount of Ability Points (AP) to spend on Abilities. These range from increasing the damage output of your weapons to decreasing the reload time of your Special Weapons, and more. When creating Gummi ships, you can add various Abilities. Note that this list is the total cost for your Main Ship and Teeny Ships. The table below shows your Cost by level. You start the game with a Cost limit of 500. Increasing the Gummi Level allows you to create custom Gummi ships with more pieces, and more expensive pieces. You can see the current Gummi Level in the top right corner of the screen at all times. Experience is represented by orange gems that can be found in each map, as a reward from Treasure Spheres, and by completing encounters. Your Gummi Level is increased by collected experience. Like Sora, your Gummi Level starts at 1, and increases all the way to 99. In Kingdom Hearts 3, this is represented by your Gummi Level. Main ShipsĬomplete the Main Story in The Keyblade GraveyardĪs with the last two games, your ability to create custom Gummi ships is dependent on progress. Since you are in a 3D space, you need to be in the correct spot to take the picture. They are made up of bright white orbs that are difficult to miss. You can also unlock Special Blueprints by photographing certain constellations hidden on each map. After finding all 15, check the Gummi Missions tab to receive the new Blueprint. There are 15 purple crystals on each of the three maps, for a total of three unique Blueprints. Purple crystals, on the other hand, hold fragments of powerful Blueprints. Blue crystals have a small list of items that may drop.
While exploring each Gummi map, you will notice crystals floating in space. Special Blueprints, on the other hand, can be used regardless of inventory or level. Regular Blueprints require you to have the necessary gummi pieces in order to build and use each ship. You can also purchase new Blueprints from the Gummi shop, which you can access from the Gummi menu, or by speaking to Huey, Dewey, and Louie in Twilight Town. Blueprintsīlueprints for new Gummi ships are rewarded for completing various combats and Gummi Missions. The Gummi shop is available in Twilight Town, or from the main menu when viewing the Gummi world map. You earn the ability to use one Teeny Ship at Gummi Level 12, and the second Teeny Ship at Gummi Level 24.įor the most part, new blueprints and Special Weapons are rewards from completing the various encounters on the Gummi maps. You can have two of the same Teeny Ship, or make them different. These are small, low-cost additions that fly with the Main Ship. These are often powerful attacks, but can also be used to heal or protect the Gummi ship. It is entirely possible to complete the entire game without changing this. The adventure begins in the classic Highwind model. Your Main Ship is the base model that Sora is piloting. There are three sections of the Gummi ship you can alter: the Main Ship, Special Weapon, and the Teeny Ships. In order to ascend straight up, you need to zig-zag. While the horizontal range is 360°, vertical tilting is quite a bit narrower. Moving points your ship in a direction, and pressing or moves you in that direction. Gummi ship travel in Kingdom Hearts 3 features huge, open 3D galaxies to explore.
